Historical Restoration
Our most rewarding work sees us working at English Heritage sites around the
country, where the unprecedented access we are afforded is almost payment
enough.
We are very proud to have been invited to undertake such historically important
restoration projects.
The Berney Arms Windmill, one of Norfolk’s best and largest marsh mills, turns
again now thanks in part to our restoration work.

From the beautifully ornate cast iron gate to the finials on the roof, we have carried out extensive restoration work at Papplewick, Britain’s finest working Victorian water pumping station.

From the newly restored drawbridge to the windows and doorways, our ironwork adorns Lord Hastings' outstanding moated castle at Kirby Muxloe.
Work on these projects is exacting and precise.
Fashioning metal and repairing it with time served techniques requires a high level of skill.
This is where generations of experience comes in to play.
Restoration is about maintaining authenticity. The compliment comes when project managers comment that they can’t see what we’ve done!
